About Us · Our Approach
Diagnose first.Then fix what matters.
Practical advice from people who have run small businesses.
No jargon. No obligation. No hard sell.
We start with the health of your business
A good doctor doesn’t prescribe before they’ve examined you. We work the same way. Before we recommend anything, we assess how your business is really performing, and make sure the early signs of decline aren’t overlooked.
Our business diagnostic finds the cause, not just the symptom. Falling profit might be a pricing problem, a wages problem, a stock problem or a marketing problem — and the fix is different for each. Once we know what’s really going on, we give you practical solutions that unlock the potential already in your business.
Practical, realistic and affordable advice. When you act on our recommendations, the improvement to your bottom line should outweigh the cost of engaging us.
Three areas we look at
The Numbers
Where your money is actually going — profit leaks, cashflow timing, pricing gaps and the patterns quietly costing you.
The Systems
How the business runs day to day — where time and money are lost, who does what, and what would make it run without you.
The Marketing
How customers find you and why they choose you — and whether what you spend is bringing work in.
Together, these three areas make up our Business Review Programme.

Where our approach leads
Our approach: common questions
What is a business diagnostic?
A business diagnostic is a structured look at how your business is really performing — its numbers, systems and marketing — to find the cause of a problem, not just the symptom. It’s the first step in everything we do, and the foundation of our Business Review Programme.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the size of the business and the scope of work. We agree the timeframe with you up front, alongside the fixed price, and aim to disrupt your day-to-day as little as possible.
What do I need to prepare?
Very little for the first conversation — just an idea of what’s worrying you. For the diagnostic itself we’ll ask for things like recent financial statements and BAS, and we’ll tell you exactly what we need.
What happens after the advice?
We help you put the plan into action, connect you with the right specialists where needed, and review your progress with you three months later at no extra cost.
